Trimac strives to be the Preferred Place to Work, and an important part of that is promoting health and wellness among our people.
A North American Health and Wellness Committee was formed in 2009 to promote this goal. The committee is made up of a group of employees from the U.S. and Canada, committed to advancing ideas and programs that will help our people lead healthy and productive lives.
Our Health and Wellness Vision Statement is: “Promoting Health and Wellness is an integral part of Trimac’s business strategy for being a safe and profitable organization and a key element in our effort to be a Preferred Place to Work.”
Key initiatives of the program include leveraging the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to promote health and wellness, and distributing weekly health tips to all employees.
The Committee’s objectives are to identify, promote, support, and educate our workforce on three primary elements of health and wellness:

A safe and healthy living environment
A safe and healthy work and home lifestyle
